EU - WATER FACILITY
The ACP-EU Water Facility is directed towards achievement of the MDGs and WSSD targets, within the framework of the EU Water Initiative, and concentrates as a priority its activities in the ACP (Africa, Caribe, Pacific) countries.
A second Call for Proposals to finance projects for the 3 components:
· Improving the water management and governance;
· Water and Sanitation Infrastructure, and
· Civil Society initiatives.
was launched on 31 of March 2006.
Agriconsulting Europe is in charge of proposals (502) evaluation. Proposal received are analysed to assess their eligibility, relevance to Water Facility program objectives, financial and operational capacity of the proponent, sustainability of the initiative, methodology adopted, economic and financial feasibility.
