C.LOTTI is an engineering consulting company specialized in the hydraulic field and in the public infrastructures design; the comany was assisting DALIAN WATER SUPPLY COMPANY (North & South ) in the design and construction of the 68 Km North conveyor and the Biliuhe water intake needed to supply the 6 million inhabitants city of Dalian.
A review of the remote control system and communication network implemented for the operation of the pipeline has been performed; recommendations to optimize the installed instrumentation and the functionality of the SCADA has been issued.
In the framework of the consulting services for the project, courses on informatics and project management techniques has been held to train the responsibles of the local counterpart.
