NIPPON KOEI was in charge of the supervision of the works for the extension of the water distribution network of SEDAPAL (Empresa de Sevicios de Agua Potable y Acantarillado de Lima). The project “PROYECTO DE MEJORAMIENTO SANITARIO DE LAS ÁREAS MARGINALES DE LIMA” was directed to benefit the Lima districts Puente Piedra, Ate-Vitarte, Santa Anita y Chaclacayo (approx. 170.000 inhabitants) with the water distribution network and a complete SCADA system to monitor and control of about 150 remote stations that has been installed along the network. Among the duties of the supervision that I carried out during the implementation of the system there was the review of the basic specifications of the international bid, the assistance to SEDAPAL in the analysis of the detail engineering, assistance to factory and on site acceptance tests. |
